Yr Carreg Glas - Title

Pictures
of the
Millennium Stone

Gallery 11: A Couple of Pictures from James Adams

The Stone was in the water - but the Curachs were unable to pick it up unless it could be moved several feet into the stream.
It was feasible to pull it manually - but this would involve the teams crossing the water and pulling from within the stream. A small beachy area was visible when the water was low enough - but safety issues mean that a crane was used to lift the Stone.
